Hickernell Invites Constituents to Visit His Booth at Elizabethtown Fair

ELIZABETHTOWN – Rep. Dave Hickernell today invited constituents from the 98th Legislative District to visit his booth at the 2012 Elizabethtown Fair, which opens Monday, Aug. 20, and runs through Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Elizabethtown Fairgrounds, located off the 900 block of East High Street.

“I look forward to the Elizabethtown Fair each year,” Hickernell said. “The food and family atmosphere are a local tradition. I personally enjoy the opportunity to meet and talk with constituents. At my booth, we provide information and publications about programs and services available to residents of our district.”

From rides and food to agriculture exhibits, competitions and a petting zoo, the Elizabethtown Fair offers entertainment opportunities for all members of the family. The fair also includes various musical performances for families to enjoy.

“The Elizabethtown Fair is the embodiment of good, old-fashioned family fun,” Hickernell said. “It is a celebration of our local agricultural heritage and an opportunity for families, neighbors and community members to gather together for a good time. I encourage everyone to attend the fair and stop by my booth.”
